How to Get a Six Pack
How to get a six pack without any abs exercise? That is the million dollar question.
Coordinating the movement between your upper and lower body needs the help of your abs. The abs can also help in stabilizing your torso and spine. If you want your abs to workout better, do some exercise that call for great stability and full body movements rather than crunch or sit up.
The following are the four exercises that will not only rip up your abs but involves the other muscles enabling the increase of the intensity and calorie burn of the workout. Exercise 1: Push-up-Dumbbell Rows
Start in a push up position with your hands on two dumbbells. Do a full push up , at the of the push up, row one dumbbell up along your ribcage while balancing with your arm and dumbbell. Make one rep consisting of two push ups and one row for each arm.
Keep your butt in a proper position not too high and not too low. Align your body in a straight line. The stability needed for this exercise will work your abs and entire core very well.
Exercise 2: Mountain Climbers
Like the first one, start again in a push up position. From this, shuffle your feet forwards and backwards like climbing a steep slope. Do this as fast as possible getting your feet almost to your elbows. Duration of 30-60 seconds can do the exercise.
This is a variation of a back squat where the barbell is in front of your body on the shoulders. Cross your arms and raise it out directly in front of your shoulders in this way you form a resting spot for the bar. If you this correctly the bar should rest on your shoulders.
Take note that the ‘How to get a six pack’ question is not that easy to answer. A lot of core strength is needed to do abs exercise properly. First start with light weight then gradually turn to more weight but make sure your abs are strong enough to bear this weight.
Exercise 4: Hanging Knee Tucks
This is more of an abs exercise, but your whole body will work, starting from your arms, shoulders, and then down to your legs.
Look for something you can hang from that would make your entire body hanging and totally vertical. First raise your knees up to towards your hips and do this all the way up to your shoulders. If you do this properly your body is almost like a circle and you are nearly horizontal to the ground.
Exercise like this requires a great arm, shoulder, back and core strength in order to lift your whole body and hold it in a position. 2-3 sets of 8-12 reps are enough to toast your abs!
